You’ll race along picturesque closed roads through the scenic Victorian countryside, before finishing inside Victoria’s wildest theme park. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience where the adventure doesn’t stop when you cross the finish line.
All race entries include full-day access to everything Gumbuya World has to offer – think water slides, roller coasters, wildlife, and live entertainment all in one incredible location. Better still, runners will enjoy exclusive early access before the park opens to the public, meaning more time for rides and zero time spent in queues.

THE COURSE
A beautiful course heading north from Gumbuya World along Brew Road towards Tyrnong Quarry. As you head towards Mintern Road, you will turn back at the halfway mark before finishing inside Gumbuya World, where you can immediately enjoy the thrill of Victoria’s wildest theme park.

✅Early access to the theme park exclusively for you. Wildlife exhibits, theme park, and water slides will be open from 8:30 am. The general public is not allowed in till 11:00 am.

Gumbuya World Theme Park is located at 2705 Princes Highway (M1), Tynong North, Victoria. It’s an easy 50-minute drive southeast of Melbourne’s CBD.
Spectator pass includes full day admission into Gumbuya World, so you can watch friends and family race before joining them in the park. You are then able to join in on the fun before the general public is allowed in at 11:00 am.
All event distances are professionally chip timed by Multisport Australia.
Each finisher will receive a new themed medal at the finish line, as well as other sponsor giveaways and snacks.
Multiple water stations will be present on the course, manned by our fabulous volunteers offering water and Tailwind Nutrition to get you to the finish line!
The 2 km race is a Family Dash event aimed at getting youngsters involved in healthy outdoor activities. An accompanying adult can run with their child, which also includes a day pass to Gumbuya World. Register your child first, then add an accompanying adult bib during the registration options. Please note the accompanying adult will not be timed and will not receive a finisher’s medal.
There is a cut-off time of 1 hour and 35 minutes for the 10 km to allow the roads to reopen. There are no cut-off times for the 2 km or 5 km.
There will be a photographer present on the course taking photos of you, which will be posted on our socials following the race.
